ACADEMIC SUMMARY

Image
An academic paper with the title,  'operating system: The Internet of Things' written by 'Zikria 2019' demonstrates that  (IoT) the internet of things  is expanding quickly and significantly raising people's standards of living. IoT developments are largely a result of tremendous technological growth and innovation. IoT gear that is readily available and reasonably priced is crucial for further IoT adaptation. The future lies in improvements in IoT Operating System (OS), which will support this newly created IoT hardware, as well as in new standards and methods for all communication layers. In order to provide interoperability, which necessitates adhering to a standard set of development guidelines and protocol functions, a range of IoT OS must be available.   Reference(s) Zikria, Y.B., Kim, S.W., Hahm, O., Afzal, M.K. and Aalsalem, M.Y., 2019.   In conclusion, The biggest provider of  Microsoft. (Bill Gates and Paul Allen) founded the business in 1975 with the goal of creating a compiler for the Altair 8800 computer. To create an operating system for the PC-DOS personal computer, IBM hired Microsoft.

CASE STUDY (DISCUSSION)

Microsoft created the graphical operating system known as Windows. It offers a way to access the internet, lets users browse and store files, run software, play games, and watch videos. It was made available for both personal and business use. Its extremely user-friendly interface is the main factor in its widespread popularity. The Windows operating system also offers virtual memory management, multitasking, etc. Microsoft has released numerous iterations of its Windows operating system until this point.

The case study and research project shows about the improvement of window 7, 8.1 and 10  (Steven Walton,2015) We gauged how long it took Windows to boot using BootRacer. The best performance was provided by Windows 8.1, which took four seconds as opposed to six seconds on Windows 10 to transition from the Windows logo to a functional desktop. Here, we timed how long it took the system to rouse itself from slumber. The test terminates as soon as the desktop loads, and we used a custom shortcut to cause sleep. The average time it takes Windows 7 to come up from sleep is 17 seconds. Although Windows 10 was able to improve on this by shaving off an additional 2 seconds, Windows 8.1 is noticeably faster, requiring just 12 seconds. Similar to waking up from sleep, hibernation produces similar effects. Here, Windows 10 finished in under 21 seconds, followed by Windows 8.1 at 23 seconds and Windows 7 at 27 seconds.

CASE STUDY (LITERATURE REVIEW)

Windows 7:  Microsoft released Windows 7 two years later, a new version of Windows. Microsoft needed to make up for Vista's shortcomings, and it succeeded in doing so with Windows 7. Windows 7 is a little more streamlined than Vista, and it actually got rid of a lot of functionality from earlier Windows releases, including Vista. In truth, Microsoft left out at least four Vista programmes from Windows 7: Windows Photo Gallery, Windows Calendar, Windows Movie Maker, and Windows Mail. A desktop slideshow feature, Internet Explorer 9, Windows Media Player 12, handwriting recognition, improved overall speed, interactive thumbnail previews for minimised app windows, and handwriting recognition were all included with Windows 7. Windows 8: Windows 8 was significantly different from its predecessors in terms of appearance. It's time to discuss that Start screen with all the tiles. The dynamic app shortcuts known as Live Tiles on the Start screen let you activate your apps and show mini...

My subject will be about Paul Allen and Bill Gates that established Microsoft windows. (Mary Bellis,2020) Bill Gates, who was born on October 28, 1955, is the primary co-founder of Microsoft Corp., the largest personal computer software provider and one of the biggest and most powerful global technological corporations. (Steve Lohr) Along with Bill Gates, Mr. Allen played a significant role in Microsoft's first seven years as the personal computer transitioned from a niche technology utilised by both businesses and consumers. (Authors Work)  The illustration above shows the methodology of operating systems  'A new methodology for the development of secure and paranoid operating system written by 'Mateus-coelho, N.,2021' demonstrates that Figures 1 is showing the architecture types on which the  prototype are based: to comprehend the relationship between these components are taken into consideration,   X86/64 - A system that can operate virtually from a computer's memory, circumventing any hardware limitations, and that can be used with any type of digital support or electronic media, such as a USB stick, memory card, or DVD. As a result, this model will therefore aid in an appropriate strategy. Reference: Mateus-Coelho, N., 2021.
